He started with Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd. and has built a career in R & D. After 10 years in product design and development in BHEL, he joined Robert Bosch India Ltd to start a new group for car Infotainment systems. He worked in Blaupunkt Germany for close to two years before returning to India and setting up the group here in Bangalore. He took on a managerial role while at Bosch. After 5 years in Bosch, he joined Royal Philips Electronics Ltd. to head programs in the Consumer Electronics Ltd. The last 10 years of his career in Royal Philips was in establishing and building a strong product development group for Healthcare modalities. He left Philips as Sr. Director of Philips Healthcare in the Philips Innovation Campus in Bangalore to start his own consultancy organization. Over the last 9 years, he has had the opportunity to work with several companies on various organizational development subjects. He was elected to the level of a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer for his contributions to his profession. He is also on the advisory board of the Business Excellence Institute of Ireland.

Bhaskaran has worked across multiple cultures seamlessly. He has built strong multi-location teams working out of China, Germany, the Netherlands, India and USA. He has a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in multi-cultural teams and has spoken on many occasions on the topic of how to work in diverse teams effectively. He is a student of the Hofstede model of culture and has used it effectively to build strong teams that have delivered world-class business results.
